AA-BOND 202 SILICONE RUBBER DISPERSION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AA-BOND 202 Silicone Rubber Dispersion, when cured, is a high-strength silicone rubber that may be used over a temperature range of -70°C to 250°C (-94°F to 482°F). It contains a heat curing catalyst and is ready to use.
It consists of 29% solids dispersed in xylene. AA-BOND 202 features application versatility with good high temperature stability, long pot life, fast-curing properties, and is pigmentable for color customization.
AA-BOND 202 provides excellent adhesion to vulcanized or cured silicone rubber, metals, and other substrates without the need for a primer, making it ideal for industrial bonding and coating applications.
This versatile dispersion serves as an adhesive, coating, and splicing agent with superior performance in demanding high-temperature environments.

GENERAL INFORMATION
For safe handling information on this product, consult the Material Safety Data Sheet, (MSDS).
Caution: AA-BOND 202 contains xylene and should be used only with adequate ventilation. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapor and skin contact. Vapors form explosive mixtures with air.
HOW TO USE
- Surface Preparation: Ensure all surfaces are clean and properly prepared.
- Thinning (if needed): Can be thinned with xylene or other hydrocarbon solvents. Use naphtha for slower evaporation rate.
- Application: Apply using dip, brush, or spray methods as appropriate for your application.
- Solvent Removal: Allow adequate drying time - 20-180 minutes at room temperature, or 15-60 minutes at 43-60°C (110-140°F).
- Curing: Heat cure according to schedule. For bonding applications, apply contact pressure during cure cycle.
- Final Cure: For optimal properties, use final cure of 1 hour at 160°C (320°F).
AVAILABILITY
AA-BOND 202 is supplied in various container sizes to meet your application requirements. Store in cool, dry place at or below 25°C (77°F) for optimal shelf life.
