CAPCURE® 3830-81 is a medium-viscosity, catalyzed mercaptan epoxy curing agent engineered for rapid curing—achieving set times of just 3 to 5 minutes at room temperature. It can be used either as a standalone curing agent or as an accelerator for amine, amide, or amido-amine epoxy systems. Its fast-setting properties across a broad temperature range (30 °F to 100 °F) make it ideal for industrial, coatings, civil engineering, and fast-set epoxy / adhesive applications.
Key Advantages
-
Excellent performance in low-temperature conditions with fast-setting film formation
-
Strong resistance to film bloom and blush for a cleaner finish
-
High acceleration characteristics for efficient processing
-
Low toxicity for safer handling and use
