Low Out-Gassing WaveGuide RF / Microwave Absorbers & Dielectrics

PRODUCT Overview:

AA-BOND CR-112 can be used to mold waveguide terminations, attenuators, and loads to size. CR-112 can also be used to precisely pot small amounts of absorber in or around areas of RF leakage.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

AA-BOND CR112   is a two-part castable load absorber epoxy system.

AA-BOND CR112 has good  physical and mechanical properties plus superior wetting and handling characteristics.

AA-BOND CR112 is specialty designed to mold the waveguide terminations, attenuators and for potting of the absorbers in or around the areas of RF leakage.

AA-BOND CR112 mixture will have a longer pot life and exhibit high deflection temperatures, the exotherm during the cure is low and allows the casting for larger parts.

AA-BOND CR112 provides very good resistance to water, weather, jet fuels, most petroleum products, salt solutions, mild acids and alkalis, and many other organic and inorganic compounds.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

For safe handling information on this product, consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

HOW TO USE:

1.       Carefully clean and dry all surfaces to be bonded.

2.       Warm the part A (RESIN) of AA-BOND CR112  at 30°C to 40°C  to reduce  the viscosity  and improve the pourability of the epoxy.

3.       Some ingredients in this formulation provided may crystallize when subjected to low temperature storage. A gentle warming cycle of 52°C for 30 minutes prior to mixing components may be necessary. Crystallized epoxy components do not react as well as liquid components and should be re-dissolved prior to use for best result.

4.       Mix the part A with the part B until homogenous mix and apply.
